Sweet Town Studios is the solo studio of Marek Kubiak - design, code, art direction, and everything in between, built by one person who'd rather take the time to get one game right than rush out a pile of them.
Sweet Town Studios is a decade-long dream finally catching up to itself - a lifetime of loving games turning into the chance to actually make one. The studio exists to build the kind of games I've always wanted to lose an evening to: a place with real depth under the surface, worth returning to because there's always one more tile, one more supply chain to untangle, one more corner of the map still hidden. Right now that means Hibernia - a love letter to Irish folklore and to the slow, satisfying click of a well-tuned economy game.
No dead ends, no pay-to-win, nothing worth seeing hidden behind a purchase. Money can buy a little time at most, never the game itself. And nothing gets collected about you that you didn't choose to share.
Every idea gets the same test: is this worth losing a few hours to, and worth coming back to tomorrow? If something still has a bit more to give on the third evening, it's earned its place.
There are already plenty of copies of things that work. Anything built here has to bring at least one idea that isn't sitting on the shelf already, even when that's the harder road to take.
Nothing here starts with a spreadsheet spotting a gap in the market. It starts with a game worth spending years on - and that difference tends to show up in the finished thing.
An exploration game set in a magical medieval Ireland. In active development, headed for iOS and Android.
